compassion

Some of my bloggy friends went to the Philippines this summer with Compassion International.  We sponsor a 'daughter' through World Vision; Compassion is another way to sponsor a child.

For $38 each month, less than we spend at Sonic for lunch, you can change the life of a family.  Yep!  a whole family.

Because when someone blesses your child, aren't you blessed, too?  If a stranger shows compassion to one of my children, our whole family is blessed. 

If you don't sponsor a child with World Vision or Compassion International, you should.  Really, there is no excuse not to. 

Compassion currently has 6,000 kids in the Philippines alone needing sponsors.  They each need just $38 a month to go to school, get medical and dental care, some clothes, a hope - The Hope in Jesus!  Don't you want to be part of that party in Heaven when you get there?  Because when you bless a child in this way, and they go on to bless others, you get invited to the party!
